Nettlefest, a combination High Rocks reunion and music festival, capped the 2009 summer of fun -- but not without a little rain on the parade! Brave High Rocks girls toughed out the weather to set up tents for the bands and activities. Great local and regional bands and singers performed through the day. Other activities included a silent auction, nettle cook-off, High Rocks tee-shirt sales and art show, horse-back rides, campfire, bake sale and fabulous chicken dinner prepared by board member Mary Willis and friends from the Elk River Touring Center.
Nettlefest is an annual event. Check back on this site for information about the July 31, 2010 festival.
