THE HUB’S MISSION IS TO UNLOCK THE CULTURAL WEALTH AVAILABLE IN DOWNTOWN LEWISBURG FOR ALL YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE GREENBRIER VALLEY.
The Hub is a centrally located, safe, inclusive and fun student café for middle and high school age students in Greenbrier County. The Hub offers workshops, classes, activities, homework help and more. It’s also a space where students have access to protected Wi-Fi, a computer lab, media equipment, art supplies, board games, pool, ping pong, foosball, musical instruments, and popcorn for free.
By being in a centralized location with access to and from The Hub (provided by a partnership with the Eastern side of Greenbrier County’s school bus system), students can also walk to other afterschool programs and organizations such as Greenbrier Valley Theater, Trillium Performing Arts, CountryRoads Cross Fit, or Carnegie Hall.
To travel to the Hub, students can get a note to ride bus #11-58, stopping at Lee Street Complex.
To use the activity bus as your transportation home from The Hub, let a Hub staff person know by 4pm. Pick up is outside of Lee Street Complex at 5:45pm.

“The Hub is an amazing magical place. It is not just a place for you to study and hang out, its a place that teaches you self determination and how to respect yourself, others, and places you go. The Hub is the highlight of my day because I feel comfortable and happy here. I feel like I’m at home when I walk through the doors. No one judges you when your there either, we know to be nice to others, and to make them be happy about who they are, just like they’re taught to treat you the exact same way. It’s a comfortable learning environment as well as an extremely happy, fun place, where your not scared to be your self. If I could live in the hub I would, especially for the fact that is kind of built like a house. All of the adults truly care about you and know when there is something wrong and know exactly what to say and when to say it. They have discussions about different things, like respect, and being 45 minutes away from The Hub, this place is so worth the drive. I became active with The Hub when my friends who work here told me about it, after I came my first time, I had to bring more people from my school, Greenbrier East High School, I have brought so far two people and plan on bringing even more, The Hub is my happy place and without it, I wouldn’t be able to say I am successful with my out of school activities.” -Hub Participant
